About this project

The purpose of this website is to help families make informed decisions for their child, and for their family, by hearing the experiences of others who chose for and against trachs and vents.

The stories you hear on this website are based on interviews with 40 families who had to make decision about home ventilation. This website was created with funding by the National Palliative Care Research Center.
